「Fluttering Chair」
空間や身体に柔らかく寄り添う椅子です。
曲げ合板は、繊維方向に強い引張力と少しの圧縮力を持ち、繊維と直行方向に柔らかく湾曲する性質も持っています。２枚の曲げ合板が寄り添うように組み合わさることで、窓辺のカーテンのように軽やかな表情を持つと同時に構造的に安定します。また、使用する部材が少ないことは、限られた資源の有効活用につながります。置かれた空間に軽やかに寄り添い、身体を柔らかく包み込む椅子です。

”Fluttering Chair”
It is a chair that softly nestles into space and the body.
Bending plywood has a strong tensile force in the fiber direction and a slight compressive force, and it also has a soft curvature in the direction perpendicular to the fiber. In addition, the fact that fewer components are used leads to more effective use of limited resources. The chair lightly nestles in the space where it is placed and softly embraces the body.
